About Us
Our Foundation
The Lam Foundation Design Thinking Lab found by a Hong Kong family charity fund is a think-and-do tank for social innovation and STEM. We believe human-centred design is the answer to creating a sustainable tomorrow. We provide mentoring for young people who are passionate about innovation and also provide incubation support. We are proud of the fact that we contributed to the formation of global innovation system. Our approach is always underpinned by Design Thinking delivering creative solutions on the ground.
Our Belief
During Innovation trainings, kids build a strong foundation in the critical 4C skills (Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Communication, and Creativity), which they apply to solve real-world challenges grounded in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM education) content. By supporting Innovation trainings, you are putting kids on the fast-track to success in the modern world.

“Innovative technology” is regarded as one of the competitive industries with potential for development in Hong Kong in the future. We nurture young people with scholarship to research on innovation development. This allows them to broaden their international horizons. Numbers of prestige prizes have been awarded: Gold medal, Geneva Invention Exhibition, Canada Innovation Invention, etc.

Collaborating with a group of aviation scientists, the “Young Pilots Program” was established aiming to prepare and inspire the next generation for the aviation/aerospace communities, using STEM-based programs. Various fully funded overseas scholarships are established to encourage students in learning aviation and broaden their horizon with international exposure.
